The Obscure Wine Society
(Obscurity Cellars’ Wine Club)

Welcome to Obscurity Cellars' Wine Club page. There is no cost to join the wine club, and you can quit at any time if your circumstances change (or if our wines disappoint you). Obscure Wine Society members will be invited to receptions held a few times each year at Oakstone Winery, and club members will receive an additional 5% discount on all quantity purchases at those events.  In addition, at our anniversary celebration each July, there will be a special area (behind the velvet rope) reserved exclusively for Club Members, where extremely limited wines will be tasted and made available in small quantities. These wines have so far included our 2004 Pinot Noir, 2005 Malbec "Ultra" and 2006 Dolcetto.

Selections will be made approximately once every three months, usually around January, April, July, and November (we will delay shipping wines during the hottest times), and will consist of two different bottles of Obscurity wine. You may elect to have the wines shipped to you, or they may be picked up at our sister winery, Oakstone, across the street at 6440 Slug Gulch Road, where the current wine club selections will be available for tasting. Each quarterly selection will be accompanied by an edition of the Journal of the Obscure Wine Society, or our occasional newsletter, "Between Obscurity and Oblivion," which will include tasting notes and pairing suggestions for the wines.

Unless a cataclysmic event occurs, all the wines will be red (although there may be an occasional wine that's slightly less red), and most will be available for additional purchases if you like them. There may be occasional small lots of wine that will only be available as a wine club shipment, but no more than one wine in a single shipment will have restricted availability, and we'll let you know if any wine is limited in quantity.

You may call us with the information, or you can print out, complete, and mail or fax the completed form to us (we don't want you to send credit card information via email) at the address below. If you prefer, you can click on this link to send us all the information except your credit card number and expiration by email, and we'll call you in a day or so to get that information.

(Note: Someone over 21 must be home to sign for each shipment, so some club members prefer to use a work address for shipping. Please note that UPS cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.)
